We aim to provide the best instruments to Macau people. Some students even they passed grade 8 exam, they even don't know what is the materials of spruce, fittings. I think it is not healthy if you don't know everything on the instruments, only know how to play the instruments, just receive the instruments which your teacher gives you. Why others' instruments sound better or special  than yours, you need to know why, not only the reason is the price is higher than yours. Actually, all the materials of the violins matter, including the wood, bow, strings, tailpiece, chinrest, shoulder rest, actually everything on the violin.

Why the prices of some chinrests or tailpieces worth over a thousand dollars? It is because it affects the sound and people are willing to pay for it, they hope to sound better. Sometimes, not because you play worse than the friend sitting around you in the orchestra, maybe because of your instrument. Try to ask more instruments' information from your teacher, I think you will gain more knowledge.  

For the antique violins, there are not much choices in Macau. We try to provide some good old instruments but not very high in price. Someone may think antique violin must be very expensive, we aim to provide antique violins from the price 2xxxx up to 6xxxxx. We hope those instruments are affordable to the public, it's great to have a new and a old instruments and see the difference. Maybe it's good for the players' mood to choose a instruments to perform on stage too!
